Neneh Cherry joins Mark and Stuart

Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie are joined by singer Neneh Cherry on 6 Music. After a hiatus of 18 years Neneh Cherry released her 4th solo album 'Blank Project' in Feb 2014 to a chorus of praise for her creative reinvention. Through the summer 2014 she brought her acclaimed new work to the world's finest festivals (Field Day, Pitchfork Festival, Sonar, Oya, FOR, Meltdown at The Southbank, Festival No 6) and is now embarking on a UK tour. The album's sound nods to anarchic free jazz, post-punk, sound system culture and the trip hop Neneh was so instrumental in incubating.
