S&P to pay $1.4bn to regulators in sub-prime debt case

Big Boss Interview

Available for over a year

Credit rating agency Standard & Poor's has agreed to pay a $1.38bn settlement to US regulators over allegations it knowingly inflated its ratings of risky mortgage investments. We'll get more from our reporter in New York. As the new Greek finance minister Yanis Varoufakis visits another European capital we ask economist Roger Bootle whether this charm offensive will work. We also head to Fiji to find out why they want to change their flag - and what they're likely to put on their new one. And with news that acclaimed American novelist Harper Lee is publishing her second novel - a sequel to To Kill A Mockingbird - we get reaction from her home state of Alabama. Joining presenter Jon Bithrey on the show are Revathy Ashok, from the Bangalore Political Action Committee and Nancy Marshall-Genzer from Marketplace in Washington DC.
