Investor Fears Ahead of Greek Election

Big Boss Interview

Available for over a year

Millions of Greeks are preparing to vote in this weekend's election, in a country where the economy has shrunk by a quarter since the financial crisis, while unemployment has soared as austerity measures hit people hard. Guy Johnson from Bloomberg and Stephen Fidddler, from the Wall Street Journal, help us look back at a week dominated by the European Central Bank deciding to print billions of euros to kick start the region's ailing economies. Plus we ask why chicken wing lovers will be paying 30% more this year than they did last year to eat their favourite snack on Superbowl day in February. Our guest today is Professor Adrian Hearn, a expert at the University of Melbourne on economic integration around the pacific. Presented by Susannah Streeter.
