Today

Available for over a year

BBC health correspondent Jane Dreaper has been exploring some of the efforts that are taking place in what's become known as "suicide prevention". Chris Brown, from the charity Grassroots Suicide Prevention, said: "Research tells us that people who are considering suicide have doubts about suicide." She said that NHS rules of confidentiality "can mean that someone doesn't get the help they might need from friends and family members." First broadcast on Today programme 6 December 2014.
