June Steenkamp is mother of Reeva, the South African model shot dead by Oscar Pistorius last year. Pistorius is now serving a five year prison sentence for the culpable homicide of Reeva. June attended the trial throughout and has written a book about her ordeal. Fatima Jibrell has dedicated the last 20 years of her life to preserving the traditional herding way of life in Somalia's semi-autonomous region of Puntland. She is now been given the United Nations' top Environmental prize, the Champions Award, in recognition of her work. Sophia Loren is an Academy award-winning film star and Italy's most renowned and honoured actress. Sophia was born in Naples and rose from a difficult and impoverished childhood to global fame.
