St Malachy's Church in the heart of Belfast has been a focal point for the city's Catholic community for over 150 years. This imposing Victorian building rises like a castle above the packed streets that surround it. One of the lesser known aspects of St Malachy's is that it contains a memorial plaque for soldiers lost in World War One. This is unusual in Catholic churches.
