A war memorial has been recently restored in the church yard at St Peters. It was brought back to its former glory after villagers raised funds of over £1,600 which actually left them with a bit extra leaving them enough to create a dedicated book of remembrance. Chris Hirst organised the fund raising to help restore the war memorial and to create the new book. Jim went to meet him.
