While the finger of Lord Kitchener pointed out from recruitment posters across the country during the early stages of World War One, for his cousins in the Suffolk town of Debenham life was changing dramatically. The men who worked for the family cider making business went to war, leaving Peronelle, whose father JB Chevallier was running the company at the time, to experience a new found freedom.
