BBC Radio Leicester can reveal that the new Chief Executive of Leicestershire County Cricket Club is Wasim Khan. The 43-year-old had a successful 11 year professional cricketing career, winning the double with Warwickshire in 1995. He also had spells with Sussex and Derbyshire. More recently, he's been working as Chief Executive of the Cricket Foundation, which runs the community-based 'Chance to Shine' and 'StreetChance' programmes. In his first interview as the new Chief Executive Of Leicestershire, Wasim has been discussing who the new coach at Grace Road could be, with BBC Radio Leicester's Kamlesh Purohit
