Psychologist: 'Anxiety' may prevent Pistorius competing

The psychologist who assessed Oscar Pistorius during his trial for killing girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp says he "seriously" doubts the Paralympic athlete will return to sport after his jail term. Professor Jonathan Scholtz, who evaluated Pistorius' mental condition throughout his trial, said the athlete suffered "extreme anxiety" before running and found the "rigid" sport lifestyle too pressurised. "He was put through a lot every time he had to race," he said. "This was almost like a little holiday from that. I could see the relief. I'm not sure he will go back".
