Our reporters meet all sorts of people who are often at the heart of the stories they tell. In this episode Will Ross meets the Nigerians chased from their homes and villages by Boko Haram who are seizing territory in the country. Linda Pressly has been to Kosovo to meet a woman whose brother decided to become a suicide bomber, leaving her distraught. 130,000 migrants have arrived on Italy’s shores so far this year taking some absurd risks in their quest to find a better life. As the boats which bring the migrants dock, Emma Jane Kirby hears some of their stories. Myanmar, formally known as Burma, was a destination for millions of migrants particularly from India. In recent decades, the political and economic isolation of the country meant people stopped going there and only remnants of its cosmopolitan past remained. Now once again, foreigners are moving back in and Andrew Whitehead has been taking a ferry across the Yangon River to see how the city and its people have changed and are changing. And finally, we’re going on a school trip. In the UK that might mean a trip to a museum or a theme park pretending to have an educational function. In Northern Canada, the school trips are much more memorable. Ollie Williams meets the teacher with a penchant for butchery who is leading the outing. Presented by Owen Bennett Jones Produced by Laura Gray Picture: Blerim Heta as a young boy. On 24 March 2014 he killed himself and 52 Iraqis in a suicide bombing.
