If you were to think about a county with lots of castles, you might be drawn to thinking of somewhere like Northumberland and yet here in Leicestershire and Rutland, in the middle of the country, there are castles everywhere. It's just that a lot of them are all but forgotten. Well, a year or so ago the afternoon show archaeologist Peter Liddle and Ben set about visiting as many as they could think of.
