Being female is more of a barrier to cracking the British comedy circuit than being black according to comedian Annette Fagon. The Midlands stand-up - who has been described as the black, female Peter Kay - is performing at the first ever BBC Local Radio African-Caribbean comedy night - an event celebrating and showcasing black British talent on Saturday 11th October 2014 at the BBC Radio Theatre, London.
