dConstruct Conference

Digital Planet

Available for over a year

Click travels to the dConstruct Conference in the south of England which brings together some of the world’s brightest thinkers on digital culture and reflects on the evolution of the internet – its opportunities and its dangers. The cornerstone of the programme is an interview with Cory Doctorow, the entrepreneur, writer, and co-founder of the innovative site, Boing Boing. Cory Doctorow unveils his three laws for the digital age. Two years ago dConstruct's theme was "Playing with the Future". Last year it was "Communicating with Machines". This year's theme is "Living with the Network". Click interviews artists, writers, hackers and coders about surveillance, connected devices, big data, and whether the ideals of the internet have been too far corrupted for them ever to be preserved.
