The number of people trying to enter the EU via Italy, after an illegal and dangerous boat voyage across the Mediterranean, is at an all-time high this summer. The risks and the costs of this journey are extremely high - and what you can afford to pay for a passage may turn out to be a matter of life and death. Katy Watson meets the people who sustain the booming trade in crack cocaine - both users and sellers - and also the state-funded health workers who are trying to beat it back.
