Palestinian Schoolchildren

Jim Davis and Jo Hayward

Available for over a year

Here in Leicestershire it's easy to take for granted the way different communities from many faiths and traditions across the county live and work alongside each another. It's a way of life which has greatly impressed a group of Palestinian schoolchildren who've been visiting a school in Oadby this week. The teenagers, who live in Bethlehem in the heart of the Israeli occupied West Bank, are more accustomed to living in a strictly divided society. They've been learning about life in Leicestershire, staying with local families and attending school at Beauchamp College. They were given a tour of Leicester City Centre and popped in to BBC Radio Leicester to introduce themselves.
