It's sometimes hard to think that it's only just over a couple of decades ago that we were still at the height of the Cold War. Until 1991 there were scores of local volunteers who made up the Royal Observer Corps and manned observer posts all over the county. Most of those posts are now derelict and forgotten, but one just outside Stoke Golding near Hinkley has been lovingly restored and Ben Jackson had a chance to go and see a piece of this hidden past.
