It's months ago now that Ben Jackson went out to one of Leicestershire's rare ancient woodlands, Launde Wood near Launde Abbey. It's a very beautiful and special landscape that was very nearly lost, but thanks to hard work from teams of volunteers this wood is safe for the future. Well, when Ben was last there he promised to come and have a look in early summer, which is what he did this morning.
