Qaiser Ali says he just wanted to get a better name for his twitter account. But by grabbing the official “Prime Minister of India” twitter handle, he inadvertently stepped in a huge social media spat between India’s soon to be Prime Minister and the new one. But how could the handle be available to start with? We find out how the digital handover between India’s new and past Prime Ministers didn’t quite go to plan. Also in the programme, the new account in Brazil which names and shames people who post offensive comments online about their maids. We speak to the anonymous man behind the twitter account and find out why the abuse is so widespread. And the security guard who not only became a trending topic overnight with #givegregtheholiday, but more importantly for him, actually got a holiday from it.
