It's 20 years since the Rwandan Genocide and on Tuesday 7th May 2014 the University of Bedfordshire held a special commemorative event. The Rwandan Genocide saw the mass slaughter of Tutsi and moderate Hutu people by members of the Hutu majority. During the 100-day period between half a million and a million Rwandans were killed, as much as 20% of the country's total population.
