The process of extracting shale gas by fracking has sparked controversy and protests. Supporters say it could hold the answer to the UK's future energy needs. But Green Party leader Natalie Bennett says the government should be pushing for alternatives to gas and oil. An influential Parliamentary committee says the development of Fracking should be an "urgent national priority". Lord McGregor is the Chairman of the House of Lords Economic Affairs Committee and Jo Hayward asked him why he's so eager to press ahead with this so quickly.
