A strong petition has been handed into parliament in protest at plans to close a village bank in Leicester. Santander is set to shut its branch at Downing Drive in Evington as part of a national shake-up. But the Labour MP for Leicester East Keith Vaz spoke to Jonathan Lampon this morning to explain how many elderly people would suffer.
