How would it feel - to be ranked amongst the greatest geniuses in history? An academic from our region will be given one of the biggest honours in science, putting him alongside the likes of Einstein, Hubble and Hawking. Computation cosmologist Professor Carlos Frenk, from Durham University, will be presented with the Royal Astronomical Society gold medal, to mark the huge contribution he has made to discovering the darkest secrets of the universe.
