It's one of the roughest sports available for women to take part in. Leicester's first competitive all-female roller derby league is now encouraging more women from Leicestershire to go along and give it a go! Recently, they were awarded nearly a thousand pounds worth of funding to buy the latest specialist equipment. Any new female skaters starting at Leicester's 'Dolly Rockit Rollers' or DRR will now have brand-new shiny skates and padding to wear thanks to legacy funding from Leicestershire County Council, and Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport.
