Business Daily

Available for over a year

As the micro-blogging site Sina Weibo comes to market we'll find out how the Chinese use social media and what that means for Weibo's financial prospects in this special edition on the business of communication and sharing. Also on the programme, is the idea of social wifi ready for a revival? Martin Varsavsky created a global system for wifi sharing called Fon - he's now crowdsourcing funds to launch Gramofon, a combined wifi-sharing and music streaming device. Presented by Rory Cellan-Jones, with special guest Charlotte Connelly, curator working on the Information Age at London's Science Museum. Also featuring BBC technology journalists Carolyn Rice and LJ Rich.
