The long awaited electrification of the midland mainline between Sheffield and London is set to take place in the next 5 years, after a 1.6 billion pound investment has been announced this morning by Network Rail. Passengers across Leicestershire are being told it will mean more seats, and faster trains to the capital. We've been getting reaction throughout the morning here at BBC Radio Leicester with Jonathan Lampon.
