Funding the BBC World Service

Over to You

Available for over a year

At the start of April the World Service’s funding switched from the British Foreign Office to the UK licence-fee payers and to mark the occasion Over to You listeners put their questions to the man in charge of the World Service Peter Horrocks. In the second part of that interview, Rajan Datar asks him about how the new funding arrangements have been anticipated, and listeners want to know more about the future of shortwave, the way the World Service reports African issues, and whether there are too many programmes with the word ‘business’ in the title.
