Crisis in Crimea - What is at Stake?

World Business Report

Available for over a year

The US Secretary of State, John Kerry, has been meeting with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, to discuss the crisis in Crimea. The talks come ahead of a referendum in the region, which could see Crimeans voting to secede from Ukraine and develop closer links with Russia instead. We look at the economic forces at play, both in Crimea itself and in Ukraine as a whole. Plus, Serbian voters will also be heading to the polls at the weekend - for the country's second general election in less than two years. And we take a leisurely look back at the stories which have been making the biggest business headlines over the past week.
