34 million pound loss for Leicester City

Jonathan Lampon

Available for over a year

Leicester City football club has announced a 34 million pound loss over the last financial year. The figures relate to the 2012/2013 season, which also saw a fall in ticket sales at the club plus a dip in its overall revenue. But the club says it's confident its financial situation will improve in the coming years. BBC Radio Leicester's football reporter and commentator Ian Stringer and Professor Tom Canon, who's an expert in football finance at the University of Liverpool joined Jonathan Lampon to explain the details.
