How important is a flag to you?

World Have Your Say

Available for over a year

New Zealand is to hold a referendum over whether it should change the design of its flag, which currently features the Union Jack in one corner with the stars of the Southern Cross on a blue background. The country's Prime Minister, John Key, said the "design of the New Zealand flag symbolises a colonial and post-colonial era whose time has passed." The debate throws up all sort of questions about history and identity. Are you attached to your country's flag? Or do you think it's time yours was changed? And if so, what would you like to see replace it?
