World Have Your Say and World Service Languages team up with BBC radio stations throughout the UK to bring a series of special programmes to look at issues of concern to different diaspora communities. In a ground breaking three-way partnership we bring presenters from each national or local BBC radio station together with presenters from BBC World Service English and the different World Service Languages. Each programme broadcasts live around the world on the BBC World Service and on the relevant local or national BBC station. Each broadcast has a live audience debating topics put together by the BBC's radio stations and the language services. They respond to questions and comments from our international audience. The first broadcast is from Cardiff, with Radio Wales presenter, Jason Mohammed. He will be joined by Alex Jakana from BBC Africa and Nuala McGovern, broadcasting from the Bute Town Community and Arts Centre. This programme concentrates on the Somali community – looking in particular about how the Somali see the wider Welsh community and how the Welsh community see them.
