The head of Nottingham's Black Police Association is calling for the force to introduce a racial quota system to ensure it better represents diverse communities. It comes as the Home Office rejected a proposal to introduce a legal requirement for the number of ethnic minority officers recruited by the police. Detective Constable Gary Godden from Nottinghamshire Police says it's a missed opportunity for real change - as he explains to the BBC's Reya El-Salahi in this extract.
