Twelve Years a Slave opened at the top of the UK box office taking over £2.5 million in its first weekend. Despite the film being received relatively well by film critics, it's a narrative that doesn't benefit black communities, according to Birmingham educator Ankhobia Wanjira - as she explains to the BBC's Nikki Tapper in this extract.
