Leonardo DiCaprio on The Wolf of Wall Street

Business Daily

Available for over a year

Leonardo DiCaprio on the financial crisis, the American dream, and badly behaved bankers. DiCaprio talks to Justin Rowlatt about his new film, Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street, and whether the American dream is based on greed, or the simple desire for a better life. DiCaprio plays Jordan Belfort, a larger-than-life Wall Street trader during the 1990s who was jailed for money laundering and securities fraud. The film has received criticism for portraying financial crimes as victimless, but Joel M Cohen was a federal prosecutor who built the case against the real life Jordan Belfort. He argues that some of Belfort’s victims are still suffering. Plus, more disappearing jobs. This time from Mexico's organ grinders, a once integral part of daily life in Mexico City.
