Tackling Youth Unemployment

Business Daily

Available for over a year

What can be done to help the 73 million young people around the world who can't find work? The young are three times more likely to be out of work than older people and, as we'll be discovering, youth unemployment can leave deep scars. We'll be reporting from India where the country's economy has seen a sharp slow down in the last two years. We meet the Indian employers who can't find workers despite soaring graduate unemployment. We'll also be reporting from Spain, learning some lessons for a harmonious home life from the adults living back at the hotel of mum and dad. Plus we'll be exploring what can be done to get young people back into work and to ameliorate the effects of a spell out of work.
