Kevin Philemon and Primrose Granville

Available for over a year

British journalist and broadcaster Gary Younge has been continuing the 50th anniversary of Dr King's speech, this time with a visit to Gloucester to promote his new book on the American Civil Rights leader. He appeared at the Cheltenham Literature Festival, and spoke of Malcolm X, Martin Luther King and the Dream speech. It follows months of research by the veteran writer, who's spent years living in the States. In this clip he speaks to BBC Radio Gloucester about what inspired Dr King to fight for freedom in others.
