To mark the centenary of the start of the First World War in 2014, the BBC has started an ambitious project to find and record over a thousand stories across the country linked to where we live. Private George Hanlon served in the war and is buried in Jersey, but has a direct link to the Isle of Wight. Just over a year ago, someone known only by her first name left flowers and a note on his grave which read - "Dear great Grand Dad, We have found you at last. From Rosie (Isle of Wight)". Well that note intrigued BBC Radio Jersey's Chris Rayner, as Neil Sackley reports.
