Halloween Pumpkin

Jonathan Lampon

Available for over a year

If you go on Facebook or Twitter people have proudly published their pumpkins online. Although very much an American tradition, there's some evidence it began in the UK with people carving scary faces out of turnips and lighting them with candles to ward off evil spirits. Jonathan Lampon went out to explore how popular sales of the pumpkin have been this year and met Rob who runs A. Critchlows stall at Leicester market
