What does the shutdown say about the American political system?

World Have Your Say

Available for over a year

The US Congress has failed to agree a budget and a partial federal government shut down has begun. What does the shutdown say about the American political system? This is the first partial shut down in 17 years and over 700,000 federal employees face unpaid leave with no guarantee of back pay once the deadlock is over. We'll bring together Americans who have been affected by the shutdown to tell us what it feels like to be in America right now. What questions would you like to ask our American guests?
