Whale of a Fine for JP Morgan

Big Boss Interview

Available for over a year

US bank JP Morgan Chase has agreed to pay four regulators $920m relating to a $6.2bn loss incurred as a result of the "London Whale" trades. The settlement is the third biggest banking fine by US regulators, and the second largest by UK regulators. We ask if there are still lessons to be learned in the world of finance. Also today the taxing problem of avoidance and evasion - we'll discuss what can be done to make sure American companies pay their dues at home in the US and not in Liechtenstein or Grand Cayman. We will also look at the economy of food sharing in New York with our special guests Ralph Silva and Simon Long.
