The murder of 19-year-old Mary Sullivan in 1964 “ripped the soul of the family apart”, says her nephew Casey Sherman. There has been a devlopment in the case. Boston Police Department says it has found DNA evidence linking Albert DeSalvo, the man who confessed to being the Boston Strangler, to her murder. Mary Sullivan, pictured, was believed to have become the killer's 13th victim. DeSalvo's remains will be exhumed to confirm the match. Casey Sherman who is an investigative journalist and author wrote about his investigation of the crime in his book 'A Rose for Mary: The Hunt for the Real Boston Strangler.'
