Newshour

Available for over a year

Hundreds of Turkish riot police have moved into Istanbul's Taksim Square, firing tear gas and water cannon at anti-government demonstrators who had occupied the place for more than a week. Prime Minister Erdogan said he would show no more tolerance for the demonstrations. We speak to a protester and an MP from the governing AK Party. Also: A candidate for the Iranian Presidential election, the reformist Mohammad Reza Aref, has quit the race ahead of polling on Friday. We explore why he withdraws. Plus: The Egyptian President, Mohammed Morsi, has said "all options are open" to deal with any threat to his country's water supply posed by an Ethiopian dam. We look what's at stake.
