Rioting in Stockholm

World Business Report

Available for over a year

There've been several days of unrest in Sweden's capital Stockholm, where youths in mainly immigrant districts have been vandalising cars and buildings. We ask whether one cause of the problems could be a growing divide between rich and poor in the Scandanavian nation. Also British bank HSBC is accused of lending money to companies that are contributing towards deforestation in Borneo. We're at the one hundred year old Chelsea Flower Show in London to investigate the booming business of roses; and we review the week in business with Charles Ferell of the Wall Street Journal and Anne Bagermerry of the International Herald Tribune.
