Reading reacts to Carnival cancellation

Uncertainty clouds the future of Reading Carnival, which organisers have been forced to pull the plug on this year due to funding cuts. Reading Borough Council says it will liaise with them on how it can be sustained financially in the future. But after more than 30 years as a hub of community spirit, some of its proudest supporters tell BBC Berkshire’s Louise Chandler their reaction to the news.
