Nominator: Sheila Jessiman From: Stenhousemuir, Scotland Sheila nominates Art Garfunkel for a place in Michael Ball's Singers Hall of Fame. Why: "My friends and I were in the school folk club and we used to sing Simon & Garfunkel songs at concerts. When I left school and took up nursing, my parents gave me a very small portable record player so I continued to listen to their music in the nurses' quarters - luckily, my flatmates were musical people too, and we all used to sing along together."
