Iceland plans to ban print and online pornography

World Have Your Say

Available for over a year

Iceland's government is drafting plans to ban print and online pornography in an attempt to protect children from violent sexual imagery. Lawmakers say they will define pornography only as material with violent or degrading content. Opponents to the plans say the move will censor the web and inhibit free speech. Do you support the proposals? Would you want to see similar rules adopted in your own country?
