This week saw more than 250 schools closed across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland; the Royal Mail suspended deliveries in Market Harborough and surrounding villages; and 35 flights at East Midlands airport were affected. All because of snow! The bad weather this week has been given the affectionate name 'snowmageddon'. But is it really that bad? BBC Radio Leicester's Bridget Blair has been looking back at "big freezes" of years gone by.
