Oscar-nominated American singer-songwriter Aimee Mann explains why her new album is packed full of egotists, narcissists and analogue synthesisers. A tribute to Japanese film director Nagisa Oshima, best known for his films Merry Christmas, Mr Lawrence and In The Realm of the Senses who has died aged 80. Silvia Hartmann has just launched what she claims is the first cloud-sourced novel – The Dragon Lords. During the two months she spent writing it, participants around the world went online, watching every keystroke she made and making comments and suggestions.
