Philippines and China

From Our Own Correspondent

Available for over a year

In the Philippines people are still taking stock of the devastation caused by Typhoon Bopha. After years of being criticised for doing too little too late in the face of natural disasters, this time the Filipino government seemed prepared and took charge. Kate McGeown asks how it was that so at least 1,000 people were killed. Also on the programme, it’s hairy crab season in Shanghai, and Fuchsia Dunlop can’t get away from the delicacy. But which parts are the most delicious, and which should be avoided? And how much crab is too much? Presented by Pascale Harter.
