Pascale Harter presents dispatches on Azerbaijan and Egypt in this programme. Damien McGuinness has been to the front line of the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia to see trenches reminiscent of the World War I. Despite an official ceasefire since 1994, fighting continues, people continue to die and many thousands have been displaced. In Egypt, Tom Dinham's visitors have been drawing attention from the man who sits outside his apartment building. Known as a 'bewab', this security guard or porter, also takes on the role as a moral enforcer. It seems there is more ways than one to cope with the bewab's attentions.
